Each of our theatres - the Royal Alexandra, the Princess of Wales, the Ed Mirvish and the CAA - has a unique floor-plan and seating arrangement. Royal Alexandra Theatre
VENUE ACCESS SEATING (access seats with the fewest steps)
The Royal Alexandra Theatre is a beautiful heritage venue that was built in 1907. It has no elevator or escalator; to reach the Dress Circle and Balcony levels, one must climb stairs.
Wheelchair seating is available in the orchestra (main floor) only and is accessible directly from the street without any steps. Find out more about accessibility in the Royal Alexandra Theatre.
Princess of Wales Theatre
VENUE ACCESS SEATING (access seats with the fewest steps)
The Princess of Wales Theatre features lobby elevators that service all levels of the theatre. Wheelchair and other assisted seating is available in the orchestra, the dress circle and the balcony.
Elevators also service the lower lounge and the parking garage beneath the theatre. Wheelchair ramps to the elevators are located on level P1 & level P4. Note that elevators up from the parking garage exit to the street, beside the main entrance, and not into the theatre itself. Find out more about accessibility in the Princess of Wales Theatre.
CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre
The CAA Ed Mirvish is a two-level theatre, with orchestra and mezzanine seating. The orchestra is on the second floor of the building, one storey above street level. There is an elevator/wheelchair lift at the box office entrance, 244 Victoria St., which goes from street to orchestra level. Find out more about accessibility in the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre.
CAA Theatre
VENUE ACCESS SEATING (access seats with the fewest steps)
The CAA Theatre features two levels of seating, with an elevator from the lobby to the second level. Please note, however, that the upper level is stepped and raked (angled) and may not be suitable for those with difficulty walking or stair-climbing.
